Dear applicant,
We are overwhelmed by the incredible response to our Zakat grant application facility. Due to an unprecedented number of submissions in Ramadhan, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the application process earlier than anticipated. Until we are able to proceed more effectively by working with local delivery partners across Leicestershire that have a face to face contact with the applicants. A rollout program of local partners in each of our communities that can be approached directly is currently being put together. The idea being that this will improve the response time for any grant applications, as the checks and validation will be carried out face to face and the application submitted immediately for quick approval.
The outpouring of interest and enthusiasm demonstrates the dedication of our community to making positive changes. While we understand that this decision may disappoint some, it ensures that we can thoroughly review each application and allocate resources effectively.
We want to express our gratitude to everyone who took the time to apply. Your passion and commitment inspire us, and we are eager to support impactful projects that align with our mission.
